I began this journey as "Logsdon Associates" in 1989 in Charlotte, NC. The
company I was working for downsized and my position was eliminated. While in
transition seeking another Corporate Human Resources opportunity I began
consulting small business utilizing my 20 plus years management experience.
My first publishing projects were Real Estate Guidebooks while I was providing
Human Resources consulting services to small business which included writing
and publishing Employee Handbooks and Policy & Procedure Manuals. I also
opened an office and began assisting individuals like myself in their job search
and marketing their skills to locate new employment. I failed in an attempt to
successfully start-up a travel magazine in Eastern North Carolina and resulted
in relocated into a Human Resources opportunity in Arkansas. Eventually
relocated back to Kentucky and retired.
Currently publishing Travel Guides and Hotel/Motel In-room Directories in
the Kentucky area. In looking to grow, I expanded into local community
newspapers by purchasing the "St. Augustine Beaches News Journal" in 2008
and looking to purchase other small newspapers and begin future startup
ventures in smaller communities. A division, "Tee It Up Kentucky" golf
magazine is under development.
UNO Publications is a small privately owned business looking to provide
individual services to other small businesses who are looking for exceptional
value products and services that will last over time. From Human Resources
consulting to advertising and marketing, we look forward to help in any way we
